The Famous Project

Ocean Safety are the Official Safety Partner of The Famous Project, an all-female team of expert sailors taking on the legendary Jules Verne Trophy.

Demonstrating our ongoing commitment to offshore and around the world yacht racing, we are equipping the team and their two yachts, the MOD 70 and the Ultime-Idec Sport, with Ocean ISO Ultralite liferafts, Ocean Safety Sport Pro 170N ADV lifejackets with Ocean Signal MOB1s,  a wide range of Jon Buoy man overboard recovery equipment and other essential lifesaving equipment.


World Cruising Club

Ocean Safety is the official safety partner to the World Cruising Club since 2010, and our support includes advice for WCC yacht owners and crews when equipping their yachts for long distance voyages and understanding how to operate their safety equipment.

Dee Caffari MBE

Legendary round the world sailor Dee Caffari MBE was appointed as an Ocean Safety Ambassador in 2020. Dee works alongside the team at Ocean Safety to support and promote our marine safety awareness campaigns and provides technical expertise in product development.

Team Squidward 3

Team Squidward aka the McKells family – Darren, Caz & Luke. Have been keen anglers for over 28 years. The family fish from their Beneteau, Antares, launching from Calshot, fishing east and west of the Solent. Their favourite fishing spot is the waters surrounding the needles lighthouse off the Isle of Wight.
2022 was an unbelievable year for the McKell’s fishing journey, with Team Squidward finishing in 16th place at the Sea Angling Classic and Caz winning top Lady Angler.
