Hall 5 – Stand 05.141 | Alliance Marine Stand, French Pavilion
Ocean Safety will headline its presence at METSTRADE 2025 with the global unveiling of the Jon Buoy EVAC – a compact and reliable short-term abandonment solution available in 4- and 6-person options.
Designed for leisure boaters under sail or power, the EVAC has been developed to bridge the gap between a liferaft and traditional man overboard devices. Lightweight, portable and simple to deploy, it provides vital peace of mind without the bulk of a conventional raft. Key features include automatic inflation, an inflatable arch and canopy, a boarding ladder and grab handles for accessibility, and a weighted keel for stability. Supplied in a semi-rigid valise with a three-year service interval, the EVAC combines ease of stowage with dependable protection in an emergency.
To mark this significant launch, Ocean Safety will host a dedicated press event on Tuesday 18th November from 16:00 to 17:30 at their stand 05.141 in Hall 5 at the French Pavilion, where media and industry guests can see the EVAC first-hand and hear more about its development.
Alongside the EVAC, Ocean Safety will also reveal an upgraded collection of leisure and commercial lifejackets, showcasing advances in comfort, fit and performance. The company will further preview the Jon Buoy Mk 6 Smart Release, an innovative system allowing remote deployment of the Jon Buoy Mk 6 Recovery Module to ensure swift, controlled response in man overboard emergencies – For the first time this system can be integrated into the vessel’s NMEA2000 network allowing the Jon Buoy to be deployed from any interface with an MOB system.
Visitors will also be able to explore Ocean Safety’s comprehensive range of liferafts and distributed products including Aquaspec and Ocean Signal.
Attendees are invited to experience the full line-up of innovations on the Alliance Marine stand, Hall 5 – 05.141.
