The enlarged Ocean Safety Service Centre in Southampton handles mass evacuation systems, liferafts, inflatable boats, lifejackets and survival suits and a variety of Man Overboard systems throughout the year. A servicing facility is also provided for EPIRBs, SARTs, Fire Systems and Breathing Apparatus and the regular Ocean Safety Personnel Training Programmes ensure that all the servicing engineers are kept fully up to date on new products and procedures.
The Southampton and Glasgow Service Centres are fully approved, meeting IMO Resolution A.761 (18) to service inflatable liferafts and current liferaft SOLAS Manufacturers' Approvals include DBC Marine Systems, Zodiac and DSB and lifejacket SOLAS Manufacturers' Approvals include Challenger and Remploy.
