Ocean Safety continues support of Hilary Lister

After supplying Hilary with pyrotechnics, man overboard equipment, a liferaft and lifejackets for her Round Brittan Challenge in 2009 Ocean Safety is proud to announce their continued support for her next expedition.

Hilary Lister will be teaming up with Bahrain Team Pindar and Sail Bahrain to sail around the country of Bahrain. She is doing this to help support Bahrain Mobility International (BMI), once again demonstrating that anything is possible.

Hilary, who announced her intention to build and sail a variant of Simon Roger's Mk.II Class 40 in January this year, will be sailing her Rogers designed Artemis 20 in Bahrain. Sail Bahrain and Bahrain Team Pindar will be providing technical support on the water and GAC Logistics will be transporting Hilary's boat from the UK and providing local logistics.

Prior to working up the boat for the sail, Hilary will attend the BMI's fundraising golf tournament, the Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa Memorial Trophy 2010, on April 9 at His Majesty's private golf course in Safriya. The sail will then take place over the course of 15th to 18th April. Hilary's boat will then be at the Bahrain Boat Show at Amwaj Marina from April 20 to 24.

Hilary will base herself at the Bahrain Yacht Club, Amwaj Marina, making a series of day sails reminiscent of her Round Britain Dream.
